libgmp10 software package provides Multiprecision arithmetic library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgmp10
libgmp10 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgmp10 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgmp10 *
You will get with libgmp10 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
